We all have 24 hours in a day, but today most of us feel like that is not enough and wonder how can some people get everything done in the same 24 hours.

Let us see how these 7-time management tips can help us get most of our task done in less time.
1. Plan Ahead:
To make the most of your time you need to plan ahead. It can be the first thing you do in the morning during your morning routine or it can be done in the last 15 minutes of the day.

Write down the tasks that you need to finish during the day. Create A to do list for what you need to get done.
2. One Task At a Time:
Doing one task at a time keeps you less distracted and enhances your performance.People mostly think multitasking saves time however it reduces your efficiency.Trying to multitask we sometimes do half work. For example, sometimes you’re writing a report but stop randomly to check your phone for no good reason, while speaking on phone you check your email or WhatsApp.

While doing this we take double the amount of time that is required for a particular task. To be able to actually focus you need to cut down the distractions completely.
3. Prioritise Your Task:
Choose 3 most important tasks that you need to finish during the day and focus on the first task.

You feel bad when you cannot complete multiple tasks at the end of the day however it is important to remember that it is a bad idea to try to be a perfectionist, as you will never be happy with whatever you are doing. Focus on less tasks and complete them, do not get busy attending to trivial tasks.
4. Energy Management:
Energy is the key to high performance. If you want to get done more in less time you will have to learn how to utilise your energy wisely. Now it’s very common for people to look at their smart phones the first thing in the morning before even getting up for the bathroom and then also doing this multiple times in the day.Remember looking up at your phone also requires your energy. If you want to get more done you need to make sure you spend less energy on looking up your phone purposelessly.
5. Identify And Reduce Distractions:
Do a little time audit and find out where your time actually goes. You may feel that you only spend 30 minutes uselessly scrolling down on your phone however in reality it might be eating up More than an hour of your day.

When you can identify what is taking up your time you can make necessary adjustments to utilise your time more.
6. Set a Time Limit:
Setting a time limit helps you eliminate distractions and procrastination. During that time limit try not to give in to distractions.

Do not use your phone between tasks if it can be avoided. You can take breaks after the time limit is over.
7. Take Breaks:
We try to jump from one task to another to save time and increase productivity. But in reality, when you do this, you get exhausted very easily. It is best to take breaks between tasks. Give yourself 15 to 20 minutes for breaks.

You can use techniques like meditation, mindfulness or just daydreaming and resting your mind in this time. Once you learn to save your energy you will get more done in limited time.
Knowing just how little time you have will let you put the time you do have to much better use.
